LARRY THOMPSON, Drums
Larry Thompson is a highly acclaimed drummer in great demand as a performing and recording artist. He has worked in many different genres of music and has performed in almost all music venues including the blues with John Mayal, John Lee Hooker and Elvin Bishop, and Wind Machine with The National Repertory Orchestra. He has also toured with folk artists like Glen Yarbrough and The Limelighters, rock artists like Iain Mathews, and performed with jazz artists like Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Valentine, and Robin Ford to name a few.
Larry’s extensive recording credits, numbering nearly 400 records, include John Denver, Dan Fogelberg, Otis Redding, Jeff Muldaur, The Bette Midler Tribute, Peter Kater, Dotsero, Jill Sobule, and Wind Machine.
BOB REBHOLZ, Saxes/Flutes/Electronic Wind Instrument
Bob graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with teacher certification. He also frequented the Wisconsin College Conservatory where he played in various jazz combos with Brian Lynch, David Hazeltine and would sit in with Buddy Montgomery. Bob also played for Montage Project opening for the likes of Maynard Ferguson, Grover Washington jr., Stanley Turrentine, Ramsey Lewis. In Colorado he’s played and recorded with national artist’s Images, Peter Kater, DKO. Toured Europe with Tom Jones, as well as played in sections with Nancy Wilson, James Taylor, Diane Schuur, Linda Ronstadt, Natalie Cole, The Temptations, Four Tops worked and with Lannie Garrett for the past 27 years His main instrument is the Alto sax, but doubles on all Saxophones, Flutes and the EWI.
TOM CAPEK, Keyboards, Producer- Epiphany/Cayman Moon
Tom Capek been a resident composer, keyboardist, and engineer at Colorado Sound for over 15 years. A professional musician for over 25 years, Tom has performed and/or recorded with Dotsero, Nelson Rangell, Chris Daniels, Lannie Garrett, Images, Chuck Pyle, Peter Kater, Colorado Springs Symphony, National Repertory Orchestra, and others. He toured nationally with the Henry Paul Band as well.
Tom studied jazz piano with Mike Longo (pianist and arranger for Dizzy Gillespie) in New York City. He attended both Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for Computer & Systems engineering, as well as the Manhattan School of Music in New York.
